The scenario was about to be repeated as once again Korea built a margin. But Japan resisted and thanks to Miki SASAKI, Kana OYAMA and Tomoko YOSHIHARA were the first team to serve for the set-point, 24-21. However, Korea managed to run a magnificent five-point-streak to win 26-24.
SASAKI (13 points), OYAMA (13) and YOSHIHARA (10) scored double figures for Japan.
